New Website

Obviously if you are reading this , we have a NEW WEBSITE!!!    Let us know your thoughts.

We will update this page monthly…or as often as we can…to keep you aware of what we have created or what we are going to create!

Our January knit-a-long was the High Plains Poncho by Melissa Schaschwary.  Right now, we have 9 stunning ponchos in various stages of progress from completed to “still working on it”.  It was so interesting to see what differing yarns, colors and ideas came up to complete the same pattern.

 Tuesday Night Knit-A-Longs (KAL)

Tuesday nights are reserved for our KAL's. You ask what is a KAL.  It is an event where people get together and knit for a common purpose. That could be as simple as a few friends meeting to chat and knit every week in a cafe or kitchen, or their LYS.  They’re great because knitting with others turns out to be a really good way to make friends. And getting exposed to the work of others can really help inspire you to take your knitting in new directions and to new heights.  Our January KAL was the High Plains Poncho.  We had a great turnout for the KAL and some gorgeous ponchos knitted.  February brings 2 KAL's -  One is the Architexture Scarf and the other is the Morecambe Bay Cardi.  Pictures of our finished projects will appear in the slide show and on our projects page.s for January have been the messy bun hat, pony tail hat and Cindy’s headband.   Fast fun knits!!
